What Tiny Desk AI collects, why, who processes it and how long it is kept.

Tiny Desk AI runs tiny-desk-ai.net. This page says which personal data the site handles, what for, who else sees it, and when it is deleted.
The data we handle

| Photos | The photos you add to make a video (up to five for the Tiny Desk AI band). Your browser redraws each one before upload, which strips location tags. |

| Purchases | Orders, amounts and plan status. Your card number goes straight to Stripe. |
| Support | Messages you send us and the video or payment they concern. |
| Technical | IP address, browser and request logs, for security, stopping abuse and fixing errors. |
| Visits | Pages opened, the site that sent you, the first page you landed on, country and device type, linked to a random visitor ID kept in a cookie. |
What we use it for
Making and keeping your videos, running your account and credit balance, taking payments, stopping abuse, answering you and keeping the site safe. Each photo goes through a check for sexual or hateful content before a video is made.
Who else processes it
- AI providers. An image model turns each photo into one full-length portrait of the same person; a video model then puts that portrait into the reference clip, using your photo for the face. Sending the same photo again from your account (to unlock a preview, for example) reuses the portrait. Providers keep their own logs and outputs under their own terms.
- A safety service screens each photo.
- Hosting, storage and database companies run the site and hold your account, photos and videos.
- Google handles sign-in; Stripe handles payments.
- A privacy-friendly analytics tool counts page views and the steps from sign-up to purchase.
Some of them work outside your country. Each gets only what it needs. We never sell personal data and never use your photos or videos to train AI.
When it is deleted
- Photos and the portraits drawn from them: 7 days after upload.
- Videos: when you delete them or your account.
- Account details: while your account exists.
- Orders and payments: as long as tax and accounting rules require, up to 7 years, even after the account is gone; Stripe keeps its own records under its own policy.
- Security logs: for a limited time.
What you can do
- Remove a video from My videos at any time.
- Close your account in Account settings: your account, photos and videos are deleted, apart from records the law makes us keep.
- Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how it is used. Email us to do so.
Cookies
Necessary cookies keep you signed in and remember your language and the countdown of a time-limited offer. For our own statistics we store a random visitor ID and the site and page you first came from. There are no advertising cookies.
Children
Tiny Desk AI is for adults. Never upload a photo of anyone under 18.
