About Tiny Desk AI

Tiny Desk AI (tiny-desk-ai.net) is a small, independent web studio that turns your photos into the AI video trends people are posting right now. The home page makes the Tiny Desk AI band video; the same studio also makes Bulin 47 and Dame Hombro videos.

What Tiny Desk AI does

Tiny Desk AI is built for groups: one video holds up to 5 people, from separate photos or a single group photo, for the price of a solo video. It recasts a short trend clip with the people in your photos. For the Tiny Desk AI video you add 1 to 5 photos, or one group photo, and get back a 15-second vertical video in which your crew plays the band, with the trend's original sound laid back on and a silent copy for apps that mute music.

Each video is made on request from your photos. Nothing is posted for you, and nothing is shared unless you share it.

Besides the Tiny Desk AI band, the studio makes two more trends with the same rules and prices: Bulin 47 AI, the Madrid street freestyle from one photo, and Dame Hombro AI, the shoulder dance for one to three people. The site is in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian and Arabic.

How a Tiny Desk AI video is made

First, an image model draws a clean full-length portrait of each person from your photo, so the video model sees a whole body instead of a cropped selfie. Then a video model rebuilds the reference clip shot by shot, following its camera, cuts and moves, with each portrait in its part. Finally the original audio goes back on top.

A video usually takes 4 to 15 minutes. If a render fails or a photo is refused, the credits go back to your balance automatically.

Rules we keep

  • Only photos of yourself or of adults who agreed; no children, celebrities or politicians.
  • Uploaded photos are deleted after 7 days; you can delete your videos and your account at any time.
  • Every third-party clip on the site is credited and links to the original post; creators can ask for removal on the takedown page.
  • Prices and lengths on every page come from the same settings the studio charges by.

Who is behind Tiny Desk AI

Tiny Desk AI is built and run by a small independent team that makes browser tools for short-form video trends. It is a fan project: it has no tie to NPR, Tiny Desk Concerts, Charlie Wilson, The Gap Band, Bulin 47 or Kevin Wai, and it does not sell their music.
